The NETworker Awards
In January 2019, the National Engagement Committee (“NEC”) introduced The NETworker Award, a new Rewards & Recognition program designed to target and boost engagement from local chapter members not currently serving on the local chapter board. Just because you do not serve on the local chapter board, does not mean we don’t appreciate and/or see the things you do as members behind the scenes and out in the trenches!! We appreciate you and want to show you that we do! We have one NETworker winner each month (announce each month for the previous month) and one NETworker of the Year award as well (announced in January of the following year)! Each Nominee will be recognized with a certificate and gift We hope to see your name in the spotlight! Contact your local chapter leadership for more information!
The NETworker of the Month
Vynessah Dasher
January 2023 - NETworker of the Month

Vynessah Dasher came to The NETwork DFW chapter eager to not only plug in with an EG that she connected with, but she was also eager to work. Her fresh perspective, love for people and ability to see the gaps allowed us to leverage that to continue to refine our chapter. Vynessah’s passions naturally allowed us to align her with upcoming new initiatives that will address opportunities we found during our yearly SWOT analysis. The initiatives that she will help co-lead will be the 2nd EG Pre-Conference Meet & Greet, work closely with the VP of Membership to help launch The Neo NETwork Experience and other staple networking and community-based initiatives. As we are ensuring that we reach all generations especially Gen Z, Vynessah will be instrumental in ensuring we are as grassroots as possible in connecting.
The NETwork DFW operates off four district pillars: Education, Networking, Community and Volunteerism. Vynessah does not hesitate to support or raise her hand to drive momentum in Program Planning. As mentioned, she will help to drive the mission of the Networking and Community pillars where we conduct annual programs such as Get to the Polls, eSTEAM, etc. Her love for connecting people and helping them evolve personally and professionally is an essential trait to us as we are hyper-focused on continued growth.
The DFW chapter is honored to have the talent and commitment from Ms. Vynessah Dasher. We are excited to see how she continues to grow professionally and personally.
Congratulations Vynessah!
The NETworker of the Year
Steve Harris
2022 NETworker of the Year

Steve Harris has been an instrumental member of The NETwork DFW chapter since we leveraged his extensive network in order to deepen our roots in the DFW community. Steve has a gift of connecting people across multiple organizations and establishment. Our anchoring fundraising events are Celebration of the Arts and Juneteenth – these are programs that allow for us to not only funnel our pipeline but allows us to engage the community. Steve understood where to plug in from a networking perspective to address gaps in our sponsorship pool and marketing. He did not hesitate to join the Program Planning subcommittee as a fresh set of eyes with new perspective.
The NETwork DFW operates off 4 district pillars: Education, Networking, Community and Volunteerism. Steve naturally fit into the Networking and Community pillars where we conduct additional programs such as Get to the Polls, eSTEAM, etc. We are excited that he led the kickoff our pre-EG conference meet and greet with other EGs at AT&T and outside of the company. His love for connecting people to position them to expand professionally is essential to us to continue to grow as a chapter.
The DFW chapter is honored to have the talent and commitment from Mr. Steve Harris. He truly is a backbone to the Program Planning and Development team and is leadership ready.
Congratulations Steve!
